Public Hike at Mineral Wells Fossil Park
The Rolling Plains Chapter has invited our chapter and guests to join them for a public hike at the Mineral Wells Fossil Park on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The hike will be led by MSU professor of paleontology, Dr. Steven Rosscoe, who will be teaching about the fossils found. They plan to arrive at the Fossil Park at 10:30 am and will wrap up around 1:00 pm. Please bring water, bug spray, garden tools for digging, and a large ziplock bag for your fossils.
