Restoration of Texas native animal species!

Cara Burch will give us a brief history of Attwater’s Prairie Chicken and discuss Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s captive breeding and release program.

Devin Erxleben will speak on “Texas Horned Lizard Restoration Efforts and Research on TPWD Lands”. Discussing TPWD research efforts of translocating wild-caught adult Texas horned lizards (THL) to the Muse WMA and the release of captive-bred THL hatchlings to the Mason Mt. WMA.
