Spread Your Wings On The Wind At The Annual Spring Festival
Nature and science are the stars of the day at the annual Wings on the Wind Festival, Saturday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Abilene State Park. The Park entry fee is $5 per car and the festival is free.
The event features family fun with art and game activities and science and nature stations. Visitors can compare their “wingspan” compared to some larger birds, learn how to cast a fishing line and explore the solar system. Buy lunch at the food vendors or bring a picnic lunch and spend the day.
ADMISSION: $5.00 per car admission to park
The event is sponsored by the Big Country Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists.
