Volunteers for Ultra Run at Palo Pinto Mountains State Park – May 15
On May 15th, the second Ultra Run will be held on the east side of the the new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. This is an all-day event beginning at 5:00a.m. and running til 11:00p.m. They are looking for volunteers to help out in several different areas throughout the race. Here is a list that you will choose from when registering to volunteer: (This is a rain or shine event)
- Aid Station Preparation
- Aid Station
- Course Marshal
- Registration / Packet Pick Up
- Finish Line
- Course Clean-Up
- I’m happy with any station!
One shift (5a.m. – noon/noon to 6pm/6pm – 11p.m.) or all day.
If you are interested and would like to volunteer, Register to Volunteer at https://www.ultraexpeditions.com/the-hidden-hills-ultra (there is a beautiful drone video of the event and the park from the 1strun in ’19) and check in with us at the PPMSPP booth to let us know you have arrived and get a decal to wear on your shirt to identify you as a member and supporter of PPMSPP. (I believe you also get an Ultra T-Shirt for volunteering J)
