We are planning a simple event to be held at the Nature Center but as we get closer we will re-evaluate based on COVID-19 related restrictions. If we are unable to hold the event in person, we will put together a video to share on our website and social media.
Spring bird migration will be underway soon and organizations across Texas will turn their lights out at night as we welcome hundreds of millions of birds migrating through our state on their way north from their southern wintering grounds. If you would like some volunteer hours, you can color the letters on Nature Fest signs. The letters are sketched on; you just have to color. I need the letter coloring completed by Thursday, Sept 30. Contact me at lindajwood1956@gmail.com and we will make the arrangements to get you started.
