Brazos River Cleanup and Campout 2025

Tire and trash hunt success!
What trash treasures can we find on this gravel bar?
Learning about riverside ecology.
Time to relax a bit.

The Eighth Annual Brazos River Cleanup and Campout (2025) is closed for registration.

Located on a ranch on the river about 20 miles southeast of Glen Rose, Texas, the cleanup/campout is four days of volunteering, advanced training, relaxing, and having fun — in addition to cleansing our chapter’s namesake (Rio Brazos) of tires and trash. Past activities and advanced training include star parties, moth-ing, bioblitzes, geology, stream ecology, ornithology, and more.

Please check back in early 2026 for details about and registration for next year’s event.
