The Acton Farmers Market is a community farmers and makers market held on the second and fourth Saturdays from May until October. Open to the public, the market features farm-raised food, including fresh baked and canned goods, along with hand-crafted items produced locally. The market is at the pavilion behind the Shell station at the intersection of Fall Creek Highway and Acton Highway. Enter the pavilion area via North Gate Road (road to Post Office).
Chapter members: The Rio Brazos Chapter will host its outreach booth at the market throughout the season. Volunteers are needed to staff the booth to provide information and answer questions about the chapter and the Texas Master Naturalist Program. Please contact Cynthia Walker or Nancy Haubert for more information and to volunteer.
