Bird lovers — from the simply curious and fascinated, to the seasoned birder: Join us in helping spot, identify, and count birds at Acton Nature Center as part of the Great Backyard Bird Count! Meet in the ANC parking lot for a short walk to the bird blind to observe and record who comes to the feeders, followed by an easy walk around ANC to observe birds in different habitats, and then back to the bird blind.
This is a free public event for children and adults. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather and closed-toe shoes. Items you may want to bring: Water, binoculars, camera, bird guide, notepad, and pencil.
Chapter members: Hours counted as volunteer hours or advanced training, depending on previous participation and identification skills.
