CANCELLED – Party for the Planet. TENTATIVE – Brazos River Cleanup
May 2, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Chapter members will assist Friends of the Brazos with a river cleanup in conjunction with the Somervell County “Party For The Planet”.
River Cleanup: Meet at (early morning time to be determined) at Sexton Mill, one block south and east of the square in Glen Rose. Cleanup will be a 4-5 hour canoe trip down the Brazos River picking up tires and debris. Lunch will follow. Contact Robert Walker for more information.
Party for the Planet: Noon to evening around the Glen Rose square. Enjoy live bands and educational booths (including chapter booth), along with food and drink through afternoon into evening. Help support our communities and learn about environmentally friendly practices you can accomplish every day. Contact Tessa Chenoa Ownbey for more information.
