Chapter Field Trip – Central Texas Uplift and Hill Country
May 15, 2022 - May 21, 2022
Geologic Diversity, Landscapes, and Life. This trip will focus on the geology of the Llano Uplift and adjacent Edwards Plateau and how geology influences natural landscapes, geologic processes, plant communities, wildlife and birds, special habitats for all types of life forms, and Hill Country history and culture. Destinations: Enchanted Rock State Park, Longhorn Caverns State Park, Pedernales Falls State Park, and Canyon Lake Gorge. Some guided hikes will be advanced training opportunities.
