Great Backyard Bird Count BIRD WALK

Are you curious about birds? Are you a seasoned birder? Are you just looking for something do to?! Come help identify and count birds at Acton Nature Center as part of the Great Backyard Bird Count! All are welcome — from the inexperienced and curious to seasoned bird watchers. Meet in ANC parking lot for a short walk to the bird blind to watch who comes to the feeders, followed by an easy walk around ANC to observe birds in different habitats, and then back to the bird blind.
This is a free public event for children and adults. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather and closed-toe shoes. Items you may want to bring: Water, binoculars, camera, bird guide, notepad, and pencil.
