National Groundwater Awareness Week

National Groundwater Awareness Week is an annual observance established in 1999 to highlight the responsible development, management, and use of groundwater. Well owners are encouraged to test and maintain their wells yearly. The yearly observation encourages community awareness of policies impacting groundwater quality and highlight local water issues in their communities.
