Pre-Eclipse Star Party
April 6 @ 7:30 am - 11:00 pm
Join us for the Pre-Eclipse Star Party at Acton Nature Center on Saturday evening, April 7, beginning at 7:30 pm. This is a free, family-friendly public event – all ages welcome. This is a wonderful learning experience for children and adults alike!
Start the pre-eclipse weekend by turning your eyes upward to view the night sky. Local amateur astronomers will focus their telescopes on stars and planets so you can experience some of the wonders of the sky in more detail than the naked eye allows. You are welcome to come and go as you wish.
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and closed toe shoes. No flashlights, please. There will be appropriate lighting to facilitate walking while preventing night blindness from white light.
