Great Backyard Bird Count Special Presentation

Hear about The Effects of Climate Change on Bird Distribution” presented by Dr. Billy Teels. Learn about recent research that demonstrates the northward expansion of several species’ breeding ranges thought to have been caused by climate change. Dr. Teels also will reveal some of the recently developed mapping tools that will help predict future climate related movement.

This lecture is free and open to the public. It will be at the Opal Durant Community Center (aka, Acton Library) beginning about 10:00, after the bird walk at ANC.
