Citizen science monthly bird count recorded in eBird. Walk starts in the parking lot and goes to the bird blind and along trails from there. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Recommended: Binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.

Far Out Family Campout

City of Burleson Parks Department has asked Texas Master Naturalist, Rio Brazos Chapter to lead a nature hike during the Far Out Family Campout. This is a great opportunity for those who are new to nature hikes and want to learn how to conduct one. Volunteers also will help provide assistance along the trail.
