Acton Nature Center 6900 Smoky Hill Ct., Granbury, TXMeet in Acton Nature Center parking lot. Free public event. Beginners to seasoned birders of all ages invited. Route will take you from the parking lot to the bird blind and along trails from there. Bring binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.
Cleburne SP – Public Kayak Day and VFW Popsicles in the Park
Cleburne State Park 5800 Park Rd 21, Cleburne, TXVolunteers will teach public basic kayaking (9 am). VFW will sponsor Popsicles in the Park (2 pm). Free to all park guests. For more information contact Cathy Crocker or friendsofcleburnesp@gmail.com.
