Tuesdays on the Trail at Malone Preserve
Vivian J. ANC First Friday Homeschool

1st Saturday Bird Walk at ANC
Acton Nature Center 6900 Smoky Hill Ct., Granbury, TXFree Public event. This is a citizen science monthly bird count recorded in eBird. Walk starts in the parking lot and goes to the bird blind and along trails from there. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Recommended: Binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.
Monarch 101 Advanced Training
Chapter members: Advanced Training on a variety of topics in preparation for volunteering at the Monarch Fest event in October. Topics will include migration, tagging, lifecycle details and more. Sessions will be Saturday morning, September 7. Actual start time TBD but will be updated closer to the September event.
Keep Burleson Beautiful Meeting
Burleson Service Center 725 SE John Jones, Burleson, TXKeep Burleson Beautiful is the catalyst organization that combines all nature organizations working with the City of Burleson Parks Department in a reporting meeting that recurs monthly. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Texas Master Naturalist, Rio Brazos Chapter members serve on the Board.
