Meet in Acton Nature Center parking lot. Free public event. Beginners to seasoned birders of all ages invited. Route will take you from the parking lot to the bird blind and along trails from there. Bring binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.
City of Burleson Connect with Council event at Bailey Lake. Rio Brazos Chapter members are invited to contribute natural resource information on a nature walk for citizens interacting with the mayor and council members. More information coming soon. Contact: Maryann Mathews.

Clear trails of overgrown shrubs, grass, and leaf debris; move downed branches from trail; re-seat signs; apply Rainguard to benches; repair blue bird boxes. Tools needed: loppers, hammer, drill, socket, spade, Rainguard, rake. Contact Maryann Mathews for more information.
