Big Thicket Flash Mob Cleanup-Turkey Creek Trail Gore Store Road North Parking Lot

Join us this Saturday at the Turkey Creek Trail head for this month’s clean-up. We will start at along Gore Store Road, at the Turkey Creek Trailhead on the northwest side of the creek. This trail head is in Village Mills, 3.5 miles east of Highway 69.We will start at 10 am and work for approximately 2 hours. Big Thicket National Preserve is excited to announce the start of a new monthly volunteer effort, geared towards cleaning the day-use areas and river access points found throughout the park. This monthly event will take place on the third Saturday of each month and focus on a different day use each time. Volunteers will meet at 10 am to start with a short safety briefing before the clean-up activities begin, and wrap-up around noon.
