Monthly Chapter Meeting
Date: Thursday, June 27, 2019
Time: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. (NOTE THE EARLIER TIME.)
Place: 29°58’35.9″N 93°55’21.4″W (Atlantic Road, just south of the intersection with Orchard St in Port Neches)
Agenda: We have an opportunity to visit the Wetlands at Huntsman Port Neches Operations. We will meet with Allison Broussard, Environmental Specialist for Huntsman. After our guided tour of the wetlands, we will take the short trip to Huntsman’s Environmental Education Center on Texas 136, where we will hold our Chapter Meeting.
Sandwiches, chips, dessert, and drinks will be served at the Environmental Education Center.
Please rideshare to the site since parking space is somewhat limited, especially in wet conditions at the entrance area to the wetlands.
Don’t forget to dress appropriately for an outdoor tour and bring your bug spray. If it is wet, you might want to wear rubber boots.
