RM: Texas Land Conservancy_MarySee Prairie

Marysee Prairie is one of the last remnants of tallgrass prairie in the Big Thicket region. Come assist TLC volunteers in their ongoing effort to revive and maintain the native grasses and wildflowers on this site near Batson, Texas. Work tasks vary, but they involve controlling the regrowth of woody species and keeping the prairie clear for mowing. Tools are provided. There is a possible option to carpool from central Houston for those interested.

Please RSVP to the event organizer if you plan on attending so we can update you if plans change (ex. If there is poor working weather).
