Date: Third Thursday (with the exception of June, July, and December)
Time: 7 p.m.
Place: Beaumont’s Tyrrell Park Nature Center
Opportunities for Training: Meetings usually feature a guest speaker and presentation. When an applicable program is provided, it can count for Texas Master Naturalist Advanced Training.
Opportunities for Recreation: The Golden Triangle Audubon Society is dedicated to promoting an increased awareness of birds in Texas. Founded in 1996, the organization has a growing number of amateurs and professionals interested in birds and birding in Texas. Field trips are organized throughout the year – generally the Saturday following the monthly meeting. The newsletter, the Brown Pelican, includes a wealth of information featuring articles about Texas birds, birders, and birding locales; illustrations and photography; research papers; seasonal highlights; and much more!
