National Public Lands Day Work Day

We intend to plant native grasses In the Big Thicket Preserve most likely in the Big Sandy Unit as part of the Longleaf Pine Restoration Project . The NPS has agreed to allow the Sabine Neches Chapter to follow our current Volunteer guidance of 10 or less people on this project. With two NPS workers, we can have up to eight people working on this project.
Specific location will be provided prior to event to those participating.
