“Dragonflies of East Texas”
Laura Morgan Clark
Laura Clark is an amateur naturalist and citizen scientist who does volunteer work as a member of the Longleaf Ridge Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists. She is retired from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, having worked in Austin and Beaumont before returning back home near Jasper.
Laura’s presentation, East Texas Dragonflies, will cover the species that are seen here, their habitats, their life cycle, and their importance to science and the ecosystem. It will include tips for finding and identifying them in the field.

With frequent hikes, canoe and kayak trips, and their annual Trail Between the Lakes outing, they’re never far from the great outdoors.
