Texas A&M AgriLife Watershed Workshop in Beaumont

Advanced Training Opportunity:

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a free Texas Watershed Steward workshop in Beaumont. Water quality related to the Hillebrandt Bayou and Neches River tidal watersheds, along with land and watershed management, will be discussed. Topics will include water quality, water quality law, agricultural and urban best management practices, hydrology, and others. Light refreshments will also be provided. The event and it’s available continuing education credits are free and open to the public. The professional continuing education credits offered are applicable to, but are not limited to, certified crop advisors, Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide license holders (1 general CEU), professional engineers, certified planers, landscape architects, professional geoscientists, certified teachers, certified floodplain managers, and select TCEQ occupational license holders.

The Texas Watershed Steward workshop will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 12th at the Jefferson County Extension Office located at 1225 Pearl Street, Suite 200, Beaumont, TX 77701.
