Date:  Sunday, September 29 (and possibly Monday, September 30 as well)
Time:  5:00p – 7:00p (or 7:30p)
Place:  795 19th St, Beaumont (Kathryn and Bruce Walker’s home)
Cell: 409-782-3485
Message from Kathryn:  The theme this year is Turtles.  We will need a sign that somehow conveys the message that TXMN members support the Turtle Restoration Project and support the protection of endangered turtles, on land or sea.
The picture (above) is the beginning of our creation for our 2017 festival that was cancelled due to Horrible Harvey.  If you want to make a turtle or tortoise at home and bring it to the gathering, that is great.  Or if you want to come and see what you can think of after you get here, that is OK also.  I have supplies – glue, paint, poster board, old things that can be repurposed, etc.  I have lots of bottle caps if anyone wants to make baby turtles.
Scarecrow workshop 5:00 – 7:00 or 7:30 both nights.  We may not need both nights but I am scheduling, just in case. If we finish the Master Naturalist display, those who are interested can work on the BTA scarecrow (tree planting theme).
