Village Creek Trail Workday

If you have always wanted to volunteer at the park, but didn’t know how to get started, this is a perfect opportunity for you!

Bring your shovels, rakes, and gloves and get ready to GET DIRTY!

The Village Creek trails are finally open and most of the flood damage has been repaired – but they still need some work.  Volunteers will be working on getting holes filled, soil packed, and roots covered.  If you can spare an hour or two or more, the help would be appreciated.  This is a great opportunity for scout groups, church groups, and individuals to help their local park and community.  Call Kathy Smith at 409-751-3907 or Russel Tipton at 409-755-7322 for details and to let us know you are coming.
