Assignment: Unit 19, pp. 601-631, Texas Master Naturalist State Curriculum
Presenter: Stephen McDowell, Texas Parks and Wildlife
The group will meet in the offices of the J. D. Murphree Wildlife Management Area off Highway 73 in Port Acres. Following a presentation, the group will travel by van to Compartment 15, a mitigated wetlands area north of Sabine Pass.
