Monthly Lake Hike

What a great way to start your Saturday. Be sure to check in at the Abilene State Park – Texas Parks and Wildlife office at 8:45 to get your pass for the lake then meet us at the Lake Abilene parking lot. This guided hike starts at 9am and last until roughly 11:30 or 12. It can go longer at times but you are more than welcome to end the hike earlier, if needed.
NOTE: Sometimes we hike on the park side so be sure to check with the park office before heading to the lake.
Don’t forget to:
- Wear good walking shoes
- Bring enough water for a 5 mile hike
- Dress for the weather. Layers is always good!
- Dogs are welcome if on a 6 foot leash
Cost to enter park is $5 per person unless you have a park pass.
