Bluebird Box installation @ Chalk Ridge Falls

We will be helping the Roots and Shoots install 8 bluebird boxes at Chalk Ridge Falls.Roots and Shoots is a service learning group through the Jane Goodall Institute. There are 12 kids ages 8-12 in the group and they focus on projects that help the environment, community, and animals.

We won’t be digging post holes, since they are using the rebar stake method where you drive a stake in the ground then slide a metal pole over the rebar and crimp onto the stake. This method also negates the need for a predator guard.
