Rock D –  Android, Apple App and Website – Geologic map and description of the rocks beneath your feet around the world
Geologic Map of Texas – Website, works well on smart devices – Geological Map of Texas with description of the rock layers.  Uses the USGS and Texas Bureau of Economic Geology maps
Soil Web –  App and Website –  Provides a soil map and description of the soil at your location using USDA – NRCS Soil maps and data
