There are about 5,000 species of flowering plants in Texas – that’s pretty intimidating for beginner botanists! If you’ve always wanted to identify flowers but don’t know where to start, this is the class for you. We’ll give you a simple introduction to botanical terms and an overview of our most common flower families as we look at plants along the trails.
Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes.
Ages 12+, minors must be accompanied by an adult
