Jesse Jones – City Nature Challenge

April 26 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Volunteers with sign in at the nature center. Be dressed for an outdoors hike. Bring a lunch & reusable water bottle. Download iNaturalist to your phone, and make an account, prior to arrival. Every Spring, through the use of the iNaturalist app, citizen scientists around the nation work collaboratively to conduct biological surveys around their homes, neighborhoods and cities to help identify wildlife species that exist in their area. These efforts help biologists better understand the biodiversity that exists around us. Join Jones Park staff and other volunteers in collecting data to add to this collective and help the Houston area remain the top reporting region in the U.S.

Number of Volunteers Needed: Unlimited
