Hybrid Chapter Meeting

NPAT and the Importance of Private Land Conservation by Amber Arsenaux

Join us for a presentation by Amber Arseneaux, Executive Director of the Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT), as she delves into the crucial mission of safeguarding land for future generations. Founded in 1986, NPAT focuses on protecting Texas’ disappearing prairie heritage, including its endangered tallgrass prairies. With over 95% of Texas land privately owned, conservation falls on private landowners. Amber will highlight the use of tools like conservation easements and the role of NPAT and other land trusts in assisting landowners to prioritize conservation. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the challenges and solutions in preserving Texas’ natural legacy.

Meeting begins at 6:30 and is a hybrid meeting, AT is from 7PM to 8PM
