“The Grassroom” at Kolter Elementary School is a garden area incorporating Pocket Prairies, Pollinator Gardens, raised beds and orchards. We are very interested in involving the Greater Houston Community. Every first Saturday, from 9-12, students, parents, Middle School and High School Honor Society students plus scouts all volunteer. We would like to use our school’s wonderful gardens to teach the community. It would be great for Master Naturalists to help share how to care for Native plants and why it is so important.
