An opportunity to work with plants, tree, and seeds. The actual activity will depend upon the time of the year. They harvest seeds, plant seeds, transplant plants as they outgrow their pots, and plant into the soil or marsh. The Galveston Bay Master Naturalist Chapter already meets at this time so you will have 6-8 people showing up on average. Chapter member Carol Gregg carol.gregg@comcast.net is a great contact as she is regularly volunteering at the center.
