The second East Texas Conservation Expo, presented by Piney Wood Lakes Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist and Polk County Commerce Center is set for October 3. This FREE event for the whole family will feature a wide variety of experts, resources and education all focused on helping homeowners, ranchers and farmers to protect their land and operate more sustainably.
This community event will feature educational programs, workshops, product displays and demonstrations by agricultural, timber, water resource and recreation producers, suppliers and agencies. Activities for the whole family with keep you busy and food trucks will keep you full.
Join us on October 3, 2026 as participating organizations showcase technology, conservation sustainable practices and innovative ideas. Great for the whole family, and admission is FREE!

Designed for novice or young hunters, ages 9 years and above, this course will be held at the Polk County Chamber of Commerce building from 8 am -2 pm.
