🌻 Nature Fest 2025 – Because Nature Needs Neighbors

Join us for the 7th annual Nature Fest, a free family-friendly event filled with hands-on activities, wildlife education, and outdoor fun! Hosted by the Prairie Oaks Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program, Nature Fest brings together experts, volunteers, and community members to celebrate and learn how to protect the natural treasures of Central Texas.

Packed with interactive experiences for all ages.

We are confirming our booths for this year so stay tuned for the latest updates!

Past booths and activities have included:

  • Skins, skulls, and bug exploration stations
  • Kids’ crafts and nature games
  • Science tools like microscopes and telescopes
  • Water and soil demos, bluebird boxes, and local plant education
  • Painting, pottery, and conservation art
  • And booths from groups like Texas Parks & Wildlife, Fossil Rim, Ranger College, Tarleton State University, and more!

Designed with families in mind

Every family receives a swag bag with nature goodies and activities to take home. Adults and kids alike will find something to love β€” whether it’s chatting with wildlife biologists, making butterfly crafts, taking a guided nature walk, or simply enjoying the native plants, insects, birds, and animals.

Admission is free, and you can come and go as you please. Just bring your curiosity β€” and maybe a water bottle and hat!
