Hike at Lake Proctor
WE WILL MEET AT THE PARKING FORÂ HIGH POINT WHICH IS AT THE END OF FM 1496. THEÂ COORDINATES ARE 31.999849, -98.475447.
High Point is easy hiking, mostly sand and very little topography. Kyle Watter, CIV USARMY CESWF (USA), will lead the hike. Kyle will explain the history of the area, and some of the species we will encounter along the way. Please join us for a fun day of learning together about another region and community we serve. Wear apparel and shoes suitable for walking outdoors in June in Texas. Bring water, snacks/lunch, camera, binos, items you will want to use as we explore the park. More information will be provided at the monthly meetings.
