Dr. Russell Pfau, Professor at Tarleton State University, and other area Moth-ers will set up at Lance Trinques’s property Saturday June 4th from 9pm to 11 pm. Chapter members are invited to join them as they continue their citizen science work to study and record population of moths. Last year they found species not yet documented in Erath County, exciting discoveries can be made. The 11th annual National Moth Week is celebrated this year July 23-31, 2022. Sam Kieschnick shared with us at our March meeting ways to document and identify various species so let’s learn more about moths and how we can manage our habitats to encourage moth diversity.
Lance Trinque address is 2010 PR 1562 (5 miles north of town off 281, just north of Club Lake. About 1 mile down 1562. Black Gate entry).
