June Chapter Meeting & Speaker Devin Erxleben: Cross Timbers and Prairies Ecosystem Management Project

Cross Timbers and Prairies Ecosystem Management Project
This presentation will also  include a small bit of information about all 3 WMAs including some current projects and activities.

Devin Erxleben is the project leader for the Cross Timbers and Prairies Ecosystem Management Project, with a primary oversight role for the McGillivray and Leona McKie Muse Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Brown county and the Roger R. Fawcett Wildlife Management Area in Palo Pinto County. He has a BS in Range, Wildlife & Fisheries Management and an MS in Wildlife Science, both from Texas Tech University.

Devin is a certified Wildlife Biologist, and an active member of The Wildlife Society and the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society. He also serves as the TPWD Advisor for the Prairie Oaks Master Naturalist Chapter, and as the Community Scientist for the Tarleton State University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. Devin lives in Erath County and enjoys spending his personal time with his wife, Deanna and their chocolate lab, Bosque. Devin is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time on their property in Comanche County.
