Dr Billy Teals will speak at the Acton Nature Center community lecture series
This talk will use much of the information in the 2019 best selling book, Nature’s Best Hope by Douglas Tallamy, to point out the tremendous lossof habitat, both locally and worldwide, discuss theneed for eachof us to take action in our own backyards, explain howt o overcome some of the institutional constraints that limit our ability to develop backyard habitat, and illustrate some of the best species of plants tocreate habitat in our own backyards.
