🆕 Nature Fest 2025 Booth Lineup Announced!

We are thrilled to share the full lineup of booths and organizations joining us for Nature Fest 2025! This year’s event will feature a wide range of hands-on activities, family fun, and expert-led learning designed to connect our community with the incredible natural world right here in Texas.

🗓️ Saturday, October 11, 2025
🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Bosque River Nature Center – 735 E. Long Street, Stephenville, TX


👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What to Expect

From exploring fossils and insects to meeting reptiles and learning about habitats, every booth offers something unique. Families can enjoy crafts and nature games, budding scientists can dive into microscopes and telescopes, and conservation enthusiasts can connect with experts from across Texas.

🌟 Highlights

  • Wildlife & Conservation with Texas Parks and Wildlife, Fossil Rim, Bat World Cross Timbers, and the Texas Bluebird Society
  • Hands-On Science including fossils, skulls, bugs, microscopes, and animal tracks
  • Plants & Habitats with the Native Plant Society of Texas and Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Family Fun like “Art in the Park,” swag bags, crafts, and games
  • Health & Outdoor Skills from Ranger College, Lake Brownwood State Park, and Lake Mineral Wells State Park

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Backyard Bass Fishing Activity – Lake Mineral Wells State Park
  • Bats in the Backyard & Listening for Bats – Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Ecoregion Shuffle & Attwater’s Prairie Chicken Habitat Simulation – Fossil Rim
  • Nature is Good for Your Health – Ranger College
  • Fossils – Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Insects – Tarleton Entomological Society
  • Let’s Talk about Bats – Bat World Cross Timbers
  • Native Plants – Native Plant Society of Texas
  • Nature Walks – Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Opossum vs Possum – Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Reptiles with a Ranger – Lake Brownwood State Park
  • Scopes (Microscopes and Telescopes!) – Prairie Oaks Master Naturalists
  • Skins and Skulls – Texas Parks and Wildlife
  • Texas Bluebird Society – Texas Bluebird Booth
  • Wildlife Management Tools – Texas Parks and Wildlife

Nature Fest is now in its 7th year, bringing together volunteers, families, and organizations who believe in protecting Texas’ wild places. Small actions — like planting native flowers, joining a guided walk, or attending this event — make a big difference for wildlife, water, and our community.
