Brazos River Cleanup 2026

May 15-18, 2026 — Little L Ranch, Somervell County, Texas

Registration coming soon.

This event is presented by the Rio Brazos Chapter of the Texas Master NaturalistTM program and hosted by the Little L Ranch on the Brazos River in Somervell and Bosque Counties, Texas.

There will be four days of opportunities for volunteering and learning while cleansing our chapter’s namesake (Rio Brazos) of tires and trash. Participants can choose one, some, or all four days to join in the cleanup and support services (service time), learning (Advanced Training), camping, and camaraderie. Maneuvering a canoe is optional, as there will be other service activities that qualify for Master Naturalist volunteer time. Past service activities and Advanced Training include star parties, moth-ing, bio-blitzes, geology, stream ecology, ornithology, wildlife, and more.

Registration will be required on this page for planning purposes. Please check back for live registration form by the end of January/early February.

To learn more about the history and evolution of this unique volunteer event, watch the event video on our chapter YouTube channel.
