Burleson Earth Day

Your kids will love this! What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by spending time outside enjoying nature? Burleson Parks and Recreation will host an Earth Day event (location TBD) for the public with a guided bird walk, education about ancient plants and animals, a garden class presentation, nature frame-making, composting, and activities such as making seed balls with native plant seeds. Burleson Recreation Center (BRiCk) staff will hand out goodie bags to the first 50 kids.
Rio Brazos Chapter volunteers will assist with activities and the chapter booth. For chapter volunteer information, please contact Linda Peters.
