Each meeting starts with a potluck (dinner on us for guests and visitors), followed by a speaker and the business meeting. Free Public event. This is a citizen science monthly bird count recorded in eBird. Walk starts in the parking lot and goes to the bird blind and along trails from there. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Recommended: Binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.
Chapter members: Advanced Training on a variety of topics in preparation for volunteering at the Monarch Fest event in October. Topics will include migration, tagging, lifecycle details and more. Sessions will be Saturday morning, September 7. Actual start time TBD but will be updated closer to the September event.
