The chapter offers nature-related lessons in a structured program for homeschool children. Volunteers arrive at 9:30 to set up. Nature based programs start at 10:30. Volunteers can participate in the entire program or parts of it. There are different programs each month from September-May. Free Public event. This is a citizen science monthly bird count recorded in eBird. Walk starts in the parking lot and goes to the bird blind and along trails from there. Masks and social distancing encouraged. Recommended: Binoculars, camera, water, hiking shoes, and clothing suitable for the weather.
