UPDATE: The widget has been fixed! 😀
As you may have noticed, the next meeting updates displayed at the top of the menu on the right side of our website hasn’t been updated in some time. Due to some technical issues (don’t worry, the Texas Master Naturalist technical team are working on it!), I am currently unable to update the widget, but rest assured we are still holding our regular Chapter meetings as usual!
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month and preceded by a half-hour social at 6:00pm to catch up with one another, have some snacks, and discuss events and activities!
Our next meeting at the time of writing this will be this Thursday, June 15.
Our speaker will be Bill Runyon, the Texas State Coordinator for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network and his talk is titled: ‘What is a CoCoRaHS? & Why are they celebrating this year?’.
Bill has been a weather-nerd since the age of five. He spent a combined 36+ years in the Naval Weather Service and National Weather Service until he retired in 2008. He worked as the Senior Flash Flood Forecaster/Advisor for a UK-Based Software Company Developing a Flood Inundation Software Package. For the past several years he has served as the State of Texas CoCoRaHS Coordinator.
Come join us, won’t you?
