Can you believe it’s almost here?
We are excited to be hosting this year’s annual state meeting right here in the heart of Aggieland! This is our Chapter’s first time hosting the meeting and we are thrilled to have Master Naturalists from all across Texas come to visit us in our little corner of the state.

This year’s meeting, held at the Texas A&M Hotel Conference Center on the University’s main campus in College Station, is right in the middle of the lovely Post Oak Savanna ecoregion (with a smidge of San Antonio Prairie and floodplains and low terrane running through it, according to the EPA). If you have never seen the beauty of this vegetation type, be sure to find some free time to visit our local Lick Creek Park (or attend one of the various field sessions there!) to take everything in.
Although our Chapter spans across six counties, this year’s meeting attendees will be spending the majority of their time in Brazos County, so named for the Brazos River, which forms the county’s western border. Some of you may even get to see the river during one of the various field sessions!
This year’s annual meeting is set to be the highlight of the season! With over 100 presentations, 26 field sessions, various vendors, multiple contests, awards, a silent auction, and much more, there will be no shortage of activities to enjoy.
We hope that you will all have a wonderful time at the 2025 Texas Master Naturalists annual meeting and enjoy your stay with us in the Brazos Valley.
