Build your knowledge and skills.
Texas Master Naturalists must complete eight hours of advanced training (AT) annually to recertify in the Master Naturalist program. Meeting the AT requirement is easy. Many intriguing opportunities to gain knowledge are available each year including presentations and forums, workshops, field trips to unique areas, webinars, hands-on skill building classes, and community events.
Our Director of Advanced Training approves advanced training opportunities and notifies members by email. Details are also posted on our chapter calendar and in the VMS. Check email messages and the calendar often to learn about interesting and informative programs in our service area and beyond.
Anyone may suggest AT, but the AT Director must approve events. Travel time does not count per state rules.
We always seek great AT. Know of a possible AT event? Review the Advanced Training policies and submit the event online for approval.
